Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 Chevy cobalt I replaced the canister
purge valve but it’s still showing the same code. I
add some gas treatment and driven it bout 30 miles
but still on. Is it anything else I need to check or
replace that’s causing the same code

If the purge valve was the problem, you need to keep your gas tank between one quarter and three quarters full for a week or so and just drive normally. The computer won't run the diagnostics on the EVAP system if the gas gauge is outside of these parameters. Once the computer runs the diagnostics on the EVAP system three times and it passes the check engine light will go out. Hope that helps! Jim
