Does bigger make a difference?

Question type: Car Customization

I opted for an aluminum V-groove
pulley on engine up-grade. New one
is 6 1/2 the old 7 3/4, does this
negatively effect the driven units? I.e.
water pump, powersteering,
alternator.

should not affect the driven units als long as you get the proper belt tension
