I'm trying to save for my first car, but I'm not entirely sure how to go about it. I'm a full time college student, and I'm in my final year and at the point where I need to learn and be educated about buying my first car. Is their anyone who has any good tips or advice about purchasing a used vehicle? 2 Answers

My 2000 Saab 9-3 SE Convertible is having trouble in first gear. The only way I know how to explain it, is that it's not firing into all cylinders. Then once it hits second and third gear it runs fine, just as fast as usual. Almost feels like I'm in neutral when I'm in first. When hooked up to a computer at AutoZone it read that I need a new camshaft position sensor and shift solenoid B. I am having trouble finding the camshaft sensor for sale, any ideas? 1 Answer

I am looking to purchase a vehicle but the one I've found is about 1500miles from my location. The Dealer can ship it to me but the problem is I'm not there to see and do a test drive. A local car outlet similar to CARMAX can ship it to their location but I'm wonder how much they will add on to the price. Is it better for me to work directly with the dealer or go through the local outlet? 3 Answers
