Air conditioning

Asked by Tom Sep 27, 2016 at 08:02 PM

Question type: General

Is it possible to put an air conditioning system out
of a 1994 Toyota corolla in a 1959 ford ranchero? I
know nothing about this so thought I'd ask. I have
a junk toyota with air conditioning and before I
send it to the junk yard I thought maybe the a.c.
could go in my ranchero? I have the larger 5 blade
fan and the correct pulley for a.c. any advise or
information is very much appreciated.

One would have to have some very special skills to install that. Nothing going to fit right. It would be like trying to fit into the wrong size shoes, sure you could but it just won't be right. The 59 Ranchero had AC as an option from Ford. You may find one if your lucky or there is probably a retro-fit kit offered by someone. Good luck.
