What is the safest way to purchase a classic car that is located in another state

The car is in Georgia and we will have it inspected and shipped but
concerned about sending payment without the vehicle or title in hand.

The safest way is to use an escrow service. EBay uses Escrow.com for transactions. https://www.escrow.com/
