I reviewed a dealership twice already and Cargurus hasn't published my review? My review was very negative of the dealership. Is cargurus to be trusted for car shopping and honest reviews of dealers who list on their site?
The dealerhip I reviewed lied to me as they lie to everyone by listing all their
cars at at least 2000 to 4000 less than fair value and they only reveal the actual
price when the unsuspecting Cargurus shopper visit the dealership.
Shouldn't cargurus remove this dealer and not allow them to list based on
cargurus stated policies?

Cargurus seems to be more concerned with keeping advertising even when they know it's false. I can't rely on cargurus so I will never use this website again and I won't recommend it to friends. I will actually discourage anyone I know from using this non trust worthy website, There has to be better sites than this.

Hello, Cargurus can be trusted fine. It's the dealerships that control the pricing. Far as the review there are guidelines for those. Please read this link for your information: https://cargurus.helpscoutdocs.com/category/193-dealer-reviews-faq If you want to go further try doing a complaint with the Federal trade commission.
My review wasn't posted, It was just a negative review of a dealership 46 Nissan in Totowa NJ. I tried to help the community by posting a review that only stated that the dealership prices in Cargurus are intentionally and falsely listed well below market value and the unsuspecting consumer wouldn't know until they had wasted their time by going to the dealership that flatly say that their internet pricing in Cargurus are NOT the real price!! That happened to me personally, I even used the phone to make sure before I made the trip, and they confirmed that the internet price was correct until I made the sixty mile trip, only then did they tell me flat out: "our cargurus prices are not the real price? That's against cargurus policy based on my reading of this website, yet my review is not posted and the dealer still post all their cars way below market value only to make it to the top of the search. I'm not sure why cargurus aren't looking into implementing their own policies about false and manipulative pricing. Sure the dealers are to blame, but cargurus can also do better. My review never posted and I was given no reason, so I won't be recommending cargurus to any of my friends when all I was trying to do was save others from wasting time. Thanks for clarifying that Cargurus won't do anything even when they find out that certain dealers are intentionally listing false prices. Blaming the dealer is a fair point, but Cargurus should also take responsibilities for allowing such deception in their website. Users of Cargurus should know that they can't rely on the pricing as it appears in Cargurus website in any way shape or form period. I followed the exact guidelines of how to review and actually responded to a link from cargurus for that dealer, so I appreciate knowing that cargurus are just playing the blame game and not owning up to their own website rules regarding pricing.
Same here. Way below msrp. Called and available, but "we don't list on cargurus" so we don't honor their price. What's worse, "we wouldn't honor it on our own website, b/c mistakes can be made, per our disclaimer." Lou Fusz Chevy in St. Louis.

Car gurus refused to post our listing because it was 900 over what car gurus says it should be priced. Even though retail book value from our bank says we actually posted it 4000 under retail value. From what I’m reading one must post undervalued or not get posted. This helps the dealers that advertise in paying less for a trade. I know the business I had to get a dealers license when i owned my businesses because large dealers refused fleet prices even though I was buying hundreds ic cars annually.
