I have recently purchased a 2013 Passat Alltack TDI.

I wanted to change existing internal lighting to LED,  starting at the rear
luggage  area, old globe out LED in, from that moment was unable to
activate and close the tailgate with the electric close button., changed the
remaining internal globes to LED, all good. Can open the tailgate from the
drivers door release button, when I try to open the tailgate at the tailgate it
only unlocks. have checked all the fuses, Computer test indicates an "open
circuit ??  Put a test light on the first light with the old globe, it had power but
very dim light. Q suspect tailgate switch, fuse,  wiring problem. All was
working well up until the globes were exchanged. Answers and guidance
