Question type: Shopping & Pricing

2022 Chevrolet Tahoe RST... I emailed the dealer about the advertised price.
She said the vehicle had not yet been priced. She said cargurus throws a price
on the vehicle listed if there isn't any. This is false advertisement. Why do you
mislead buyers?

That's absolutely false! Cargurus doesn't set the prices for the vehicles in the advertisements, the seller does. Sounds like this Dealer is trying to pass the buck for not wanting to honor the advertised price in hopes that someone else will come along and pay more. There's plenty of vehicles listed with no prices in the ad. Do to the low supply of new vehicles and the high demand people are willing to pay way more than the vehicle is worth. Since many Dealer's inventories are low right now they want to squeeze every penny of profit out of the vehicles they sell. On September 15th my friend ordered a new Ford Maverick that he won't get until the Spring, if he's lucky! He's already been told the reality is he probably won't get his Maverick until next Fall! Isn't it grand we don't make anything in the United States anymore? Hope that helps! Jim
