fan blower switch

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

fan only works on high speed.1-4 don't work at all.resistor is o.k..
fan motor checks out good.fuses are good. Did some resistance checks
and voltage checks everything seems o.k.. Can't find the problem....
need help. Any suggestions

Try replacing the fan resistor relay. go to your GM dealer parts dept and ask for the location on your vehicle.

common problem, change the resistor and your problem will be solved

Replace heater resonator and I only got one to four and when I shot the key that's the only time the blower motor works

I have that problem as well. at first it was just 1 and 2 so I replaced the resistor and then it was working and now I only have fan speed 5 and no lower speeds.
