2005 Pontiac Grandprix is still overheating!

My water pump had a leak so i
replaced it....The machanic bleed the
system etc... But its still overheating
even faster now! Could that be my
upper hose? Because it gets really
hot???

And it wasnt overheating before the pump....... he didnt get all the air out of the system. that engine has an air bleed with a brass screw that commonly breaks, a fitting or hose at the top of the engine will have to be opened to allow the bubble to escape, a momentary rev will help
