does anybody know how to fix E350 ABS troubles? Seems there is no solutions to this problem.
ABS dash light comes on intermittently, causes cruise control to stop working. No one
seems to know what the problem is with the brake system on these vehicles....Even most
mechanics say "don't worry about it, it's a Ford", seems like a ridiculous answer.

I agree entirely with tennisshoes. Find a TECHNICIAN. You didn't state if it was a "Rear Wheel ABS" or "4WABS". Some other possibilities for an ABS problem are loose wheel bearings, bent axle, carrier bearings (for the diff mounted sensor), low brake fluid level, or even the ABS module its self. Get codes (if any), check the resistance of the wheel speed sensors, the wiring and finally the ABS Module.
check your brake fluid level it gets low them abs will deativate causing cruise to stop also.

My dash ABS light came on and changing the sensor at the rear end did not fix it it. Took it to Ford and they found the wire at the instrument panel came off. I was driving on I5 and there were a lot of pot holes so I guess that is what jarred it loose. As soon as I started going uphill the light came on. Fixed in 20 minutes and been good for 4 years so far no more light.
The pedal goes to the floor, I put in a new master cylinder but no change, Now what ?
I did a bench bleed before I even took the old one out, If it is this hard to make work right why not take the RABS out and put in a adjustable portioning valve and be done with it ?
Clockspring causes horn and cruise to go out. Get clockspring
Sounds like you have a Bad ABS Module. IT lives on top of your HCU It Is what Pulses the Break lines with the ABS system Activates. On the Econoline's Ford Placed it under the Driver Seat on the Frail Rail, It gets lots of Water on it and in most case water gets in the Module and Cause's it Fail. You did not Say What Year it is. If its a 94-96 then you can still find the ABS Module if you look and You can also have it Rebuilt. If its newer then you can still buy a ABS module from Ford. Expect it to be 399 and up.

Not sure how old this posting is, today is 9/5/19. I have a 2006 e350. Pedal was slowly sinking to the floor. Ford could not get to it for a month. Took it to a local shop, they did replace the ABS module, but the ABS light was on this morning, then this afternoon it was off and so far has stayed off. Pedal is fine.

Now it is 12/28/20, the light has been on and off for a year. Finally asked someone else, he asked if I had replaced the ABS Wheel Sensors. I did and after driving around the block, the light is out. I did replace the rotors and pads too. They are expensive and you need the ones with the wide triangular metal mounting piece. The left was around $150, the right was somewhere around $50, not sure why, they looked the same, but they only fit one side or the other. But just glad the light is off.
