Why is water leaking under the back doors

Asked by JuliaF May 07, 2013 at 08:37 PM

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When it rains (depending on the side the rain directly hits) water pools on the bottom part of the door frame and trickles onto the floor and soaks the carpet. Door seals have been changed.

Check the drain holes in the bottom of the doors. They sometimes get clogged with debris and water finds it's way inside.

Thanks for the tips. A couple of weeks ago someone checked the drain holes at the bottom of the doors and said this was not the problem.
