window operation

the window falls down and will not return up with the switch.  The motor suns but the window does not move

what year is the car, window could be off the tracks or have a bent track. or could be the regulator

have you taken the door panel off to look at it. not sure if you want to with a lexus but i have a maxima and it did the same thing i took the door panel off and the clip was out of track that moved the window up and down. i helped the window back up but have not pushed the clip back in place yet. i would say open it up and take a look it could have just poped out of place like mine

Thanks Nick7442. It is a 1992. I tried taking off the door panel, but stopped when the two covered screws/pins by the hinge seemed beyond my ability. I did not want to break anything.

No, I've attempted, but stopped short I couldn't figure out how to remove the two fastners near the hinge side of the door I think your probably right, but I don't want to screw something up. The AC works fine, and I've got the window up now.
