Air and heat won't blow

I was driving my 1999 Lexis 300RX one day and the air from the vents just stopped.  Went over a bump and it started again. Finally shut off and has not come back on. If I have my temp control on air while driving cold air comes through the vents. Same with the heat. When I stop so does the air coming through. Was told I need a new blower motor because the fan is running. Very confused! please help!
