battery voltage slowly goes down

My mercedes has a brand new battery and it keeps losing charge. Alternator seems
to be ok

You have a voltage monster. Start at you battery and work back with a multimeter. Where the voltage drops that is where you are having the problem. I bet it is a stuck relay or something easy like that.
