Catalytic converter

Question type: Car Customization

Has anyone removed or even gutted the inner if
their catalytic converter.
Im thinking of doing it to my toyota caldina gtt
st215 3sgte.
Is it hard to do?
Is it worth doing?

Unless it is plugged up you will not see any benefit. Without the cat the ECU will give the engine the incorrect fuel/air mixture.

Just looking at it there is no sensor behind the cat only one before it.
