What is the cause for the car not to start?

Toyota Avensis engine 1az2 16v ,it doesn't
want to start after I got the head gasket
fixed ,so I was asking if why won't it start?

We can only guess, and my guess is: the timing belt was not installed correctly (with the crank and cam gears lined up), or some wiring was left unplugged. Is the battery in good shape?
