What could be the posible cause for the car jerking after i have cover 1000miles,

After the tank is fill up again the situation will back to normal. I have changed my ECU and fuel fiter yet the problemis stll persist. and somebody was now suggesting that i should change my fuel pump

Is your Check engine light on? Also do have a habit of running it very low, near out of gas before re-fueling?
