Remote start sets alarm off

I have a Oldsmobile Aurora 2001 and
we tried putting an aftermarket
stereo in. But all the wiring got
messed up because now when I
press my remote start, it sets the
alarm off but doesn't start the car, at
all. What can we do to fix this? I
really need my remote start for the
winter. Also we ended up not using
the aftermarket stereo and the
factory stereo is currently in the car.

you may be feeding one of the 2 radio hotwires from a poor source try another
