would the catalytic converter cause my car to not crank up when i drive it more than 40 miles?

When i do try to Crank the car up it acts like its starving for gas?

Please see the answer I posted for (Asked by Scrub on Jan 18, 2007 8:32:48 PM) I'ts the smae question so the answer I have for right now will be the same. I will add one thing that I did not speak about it the previous answer. The CAT. can cause all sorts of problems if it gets clogged or what ever may happen to it, but there are alot of other things that can and do cause this same problem. (Alot of the other things that it could be would be a lot less expensive to repair. Terry
