Car not starting

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, i just bought my iroc a few weeks ago from a
private dealer. I checked it out and most of it was
in good shape. Dealer said it needed a alternator
and battery for it to drive. It started up drove it
around the block and was fine except for the
voltage meter typical of a dying alternator. I bought
it and next day got a trailer to drive it up on and it
won't start. Got got home and for the past few
weeks, nothing. I replaced the fuel filter, the
alternator, the battery, the spark plug wires, the
ignition coil. I put the key in the ignition and it all
maxes out the gagues except the fuel. It has a new
pump from the previous owner and cut access
panel. After i goto start it, it won't turn over, it acts
like it wants to but goes to start the dies and goes
rrrrrrrrrrr and promptly dies and goes click click
click even though i have a full battery and full
charge plus having the jumper cables attched to a
running car. If you have an email i can send you the
video and that will show my problem. Any help
would be appreciated.
