95 ranger 4 cylinder not sure of the size...started
looseing compression and blowing smoke when  
ya gun it to hard then while driving uphill
something gave in the engine and it lost all
compression and bogged out to a stop...not sure if
it's just top end...

Retire the car.... Many states will pay you to have the car removed from the road.... That's what I would do.

I think you may have to find out if the car has to be running.
