I ran Mobil1 5w30 or 5w40 in my 2006 Vette. If you have to dye your oil purple to sell it, I don't want it. Mobil1 is perfect and Walmart has it for a great price.
What Bob said! Your Corvette engine was designed to thrive under the benefits of Mobil 1 synthetic! Why change? It's been proven time and time again! Simple as that!
