Question type: Car Customization

I have searched the web up and down, and I cannot find any answers. I want to install an after market navigation system (double din size) in my 2003 GX 470 without nav. The problem is that the the double din size is like 7 x 4, and the radio opening is around 9 x 5. What could I use to fill the gap. Many thanks for any help you can provide..

The item I want to install is listed below.

Unfortunately Giantshark I don't think the navigation market has caught up with user demand when it comes to aftermarket navigation installation. I currently don't think that there are any brackets or anything that you could add to make the system fit. I think thats the reason that the systems like Garmin and TomTom are so popular because they are extrenal. Sorry I couldn't be more help. If you find an answer let me know. I'd love to be able to share it.

yo have to make the housing custom. Some people use wood or if youre a pro you can get the stock face and make ur own fiberglassing out of it. So that way you cut ur own hole. I installed my face when I get to the fiberglassing ill let you all know how it went.
