what do I do when my car is sold?

I have sold my car to Joe Leal, conditioned upon my receipt of a deposit on Monday, July 20. Is this the notification I should provide you?  When I receive the deposit, should I do something further?  I will want to cancel my ad, but not until my receipt of the deposit.

Depending on what state you live in contact the dmv and inform them . Also check to see what is required for you to do with the tags. Here in Nevada tags go with you not the car.
