Tire usage

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I purchased a rehabbed Lexus LS 460 with with 43000 Miles. At the time of
the purchase they put new Bridgestone Turanza EL 42 BW on the car. After
driving the car for 23000 miles (normal use) the are telling me I need to
replace the tires due to wear. Is it possible that these tires could have worn
out in this rather short 22 month period

Make sure why they need to be replaced. Are they below legal limits. If they are not I assume they are in front? Just put them in back and back to the front. Sometimes they may just want the sell...lol
Also as mentioned...look into any warranty. But sometimes warranties are for original purchaser!
Use a penny to measure the tread wear yourself. Follow the advice above and check rotation, suspension, tire pressure, etc. Finally, get yourself a set of Yokohama tires, they are the best for Lexus vehicles (or any vehicle in my opinion). Good luck.
