abs light on

2004 gx470.  I just replaced the front wheel bearing with a Duralast bearing that has ABS components.  This was verified by the technician that pressed the hub into the bearing.  ABS light came on within 20 ft of driving.  Did not touch sensor during replacement.  Any ideas for a solution?

i'm not sure how your wheel is put together, but does getting to the bearing require altering or removing ANY brake components? if so, you may have spilled brake fluid, or put a bubble in the line. BOTH will throw your ABS light (or brake light) on.

Hi Travis, Removing the bearing does require taking the caliper and rotor off but not removing lines which would create air in the brake lines nor spilling fluid on the sensors. It has to be the sensors picking up the target on the bearing itself. Does the ABS computer system need to be reset? If so, how is that done?
