How much more does a lexus lx470 cost than a Toyota Capri in repairs? Percentage please.

Asked by Kariekola Sep 13, 2015 at 11:07 AM about the 2002 Lexus LX 470 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm thinking of buying a 2002 lexus lx470 with 112,000 miles and wondering
what life expectancy is and how much, compared with my toyota Camry the
repair expenses will be.

The Lexus Dealer will almost certainly charge you more for repairs than the Toyota Dealer will (even though all of the parts are made by Toyota). Personally, I would advise against buying a vehicle a 13 year old vehicle with over 100k miles on it, no matter how good it looks. Shop around for something newer with less miles.

It depends on how the car was driven and the maintenance it received- with these unknowns, I would have to have a graduate degree in math to answer this- let's just say you roll the dice, you take your chances-
