How reliable are the 2003 Lexus XR 300's in general over time? Is $9500 for 92,000 miles likely to be a good investment?

Very reliable. But KBB lists an RX, not XR, so I went with that. A 2003 in 'good condition" lists at $8,105, so I used that number and with 92,000 miles no matter what shape it is in it's kind of hard to be in the "excellent" category. 3% of cars meet the criteria for that, so I looked at "fair" half meet THAT criteria. But back to reliability Lexus is a Toyota, which has a reputation of reliability far beyond most, and a Lexus at 92,000 miles is maybe half way to the money pit stage. 200,000 is common.
