I just bought a 1999 Lexus rx300
yesterday and I took my sister for a
ride in it and I drove over a speed
bump going very slow and next thing
I know the check engine light is on. I
am taking it to get checked today
after work but I'm so nervous
because I always have car problems
and I just bought the car yesterday!

Sign up on www.clublexus.com, I can help you out there along with the other club lexus members. (it's free and just a forum) You can get the code checked for free at autozone. Post the code over on CL and I'll see if i can help.

I'm not sure. I don't know anything about cars so that's what I'm trying to figure out. I'm bringing it in to get looked at as soon as I get off work to try and figure it out
