My Lexus heating system.

Asked by JimBasketball Oct 13, 2016 at 03:12 PM about the 2004 Lexus RX 330 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Lexus RX 330.  It has a dual Heat/Ac system.  Suddenly, the
heat only works on the passenger side.  Just cold air on the drivers side.  The
A/C works fine on both sides.  The coolant level is fine.  The temperature
needle is right in the middle.  Any thoughts?
Thank you.

One of your blend doors has failed. It's not opening up to let the heat into the drivers side. Never torn one apart for a Lexus, but I'm betting it's an electronic gear driven door. You can search Youtube for some DIY videos. Or if you're not handy with cars, bring it to your local mechanic.
