Asked by GuruC7Y24 Mar 11, 2019 at 10:01 AM about the 2015 Lexus RX 350 AWD

Question type: General

I just switched from a 2010 RX350 AWD to a 2015 RX350 AWD.  Apparently
the fuel tanks are the same size, but I believe I'm getting 40-50 fewer miles per
tank.  Why?

Maybe it needs a tuneup and filter change. Check the tire air pressure too. The 15 is a different vehicle, it is slightly larger and it has a more powerful engine which might be a factor.

They both say 3.5 liter. The 2010 says 275 HP and the 2015 says 270. I will check the air pressure. What exactly is considered a "tuneup" these days? Thanks!
