How do I adjust dash lights on 2010 Lexus RX 350

There is a cylindrical switch on the dash board(left lower) which turns clockwise or anti-clockwise which makes the dash lights turns bright or dim.

not true. there are toggle switches to decrease or increase the instrument illumination. the toggle switches are on the left side of the steering column.
