my remote has stopped working

Had to place the remote against the start button after leaving the car this morning.  When I got to work, the remote would not lock the doors

I replaced battery 10 times. Every 2 weeks it dies They talked me into replacing key for $350 Yesterday, message on dashboard 'key battery low' I'm besides myself. Any suggestions?? RX350 - 2013

both of my remotes die after 30 days , i have replaced the batteries in them both 3 times for the last 3 months ,any suggestions ?
