My tail gate won’t open on my Lexus Rx350 & remote stopped locking doors

I am unable to open my tailgate. Initially it was  
unable to open manually or with remote or
with the interior button. Now my remote will
not lock or unlock any of my doors   When I
press the remote lock it gives me a long beep
but doesn’t do anything!  Also my dash is
telling me the tailgate is open but it is not

Finally figured out that I accidentally had hit the valet button in the glove box AND snow had slid down into the door Jam of the tailgate when I open. It then turned to ice and wouldn’t let the tailgate close all the way
