2008 RX350 engine noise

I have noticed an engine noise that increases with speed but not affected by acceleration (does not change when foot is off the gas).  It seems louder inside the car than out.  Any ideas what that might be?

Is this noise new? My wife's 06 RX400H was noisy on the highway and I thought it was normal until I changed the tires.I did not even like to drive it. The car is so quite now. I think I had firestone before.Check CONSUMER REPORT magazine for tires before you buy.
