Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car hesitated at a stop light and all of a sudden three lights popped on. The Check Engine light, VSC and Traction control. Now when idling it is rough then goes quiet. Dealer gave me a TSB manual and said I needed to replace the engine. I immediately left after a $150 diagnostic fee for nothing. Later went to Advanced Auto who gave me the following error codes: C1201, P0300, P0014, P0015, P0017. Went and had my oil changed, the lights went out for a few hours and came back on the next day.

Went to Auto Zone and got even more codes...C1201, P0354, P0300-0306, P0015 and P0017. I have been told to check wiring, get a tune up, need an ignition coil. What the heck is wrong with my car? Is it a simple fix being missed? All of this sounds expensive. Should I just trade it in. I didn't expect this from a Lexus with 180k miles.

I looked up my VIN and there are no outstanding recalls on my car. So are you saying it is the engine? What can I expect to pay for a used one with labor? Not done by the dealer who told me it was $3k just to replace Camshafts.
