Hi there, You can't go wrong with a Lexus, it is a glorified Toyota! That is a pretty fair price for it, they normally will sell for around $22,000 to $25,000 for that year. So the price is definitely right, and yes you really don't see very many of those cars on the road at all. My neighbor had one, only thing he said that always went wrong was the low-profile tires on it, he said you would get a blow-out if you hit a decent pothole or if you hit a curb, he has had 3 flat tires from hitting pot holes, stay away from the run-flat tires. So just make sure the tires on the car your interested in don't have the run flat tires and you should be ok. The nice thing about the SC430 is that it is a hardtop convertible, and has a futuristic look for the year, you would never know its a 2002. Good luck

We have a 2004 - just bought in Oct. Arizona car - we live on the coast in Calif. I cannot believe you can buy a car like this with less than 70 k miles for the price of a use Corolla. When you drive it, top up or down - - - You just don't want to ever stop driving. Best there is ... Second best for fun ??? try a Toyota mr2 spyder - FUN FUN FUN Check it out

I own a 2003 SC430 and I let it sit for almost 3 years, hooked up the battery and turned on right away! I drove it for a year then let it sit for 2 years, hooked up the battery and turned on right away again. No issues what so ever! I did drain the oil and gas before I let it sit but that's obvious. Needless to say I've been through a lot of cars, but I won't let the me Lexus go unless the price is right!

I gave a lot less than 20K and it 85k on the clock I have never been sorry I bought it. I try not to drive in the winter, even in TN where the winters are mild. In the summer it is my daily driver, and I love the car, I have had several cars in my life (71) the Lexus is the nicest car of the bunch.
