NEED HELP ASAP RE PURCHASE OF 1973 CORVETTE

My husband sold his 1987 Camaro to pay for our wedding and I am looking to purchase a 1973 Corvette Coupe, 454 auto, matching numbers.  This is within his model year for vettes, and in pics the car looks fine.  I will be inspecting tomorrow to look for rust in rear wells, etc, leaks, etc.  I need to know the max that someone would pay, or the lowest one would pay to give me a ball park.

The reason I need help fast is because he is turning 40 and I would like to purchase this for his birthday. The interior looks decent and the car supposedly runs great, but I won't know until tomorrow.
