The shop should always do exactly when you tell them needs to be done. http://red-line-resto.com/blog/1974-chevrolet-corvette-something-new-every-day/

The vehicle, especially, a Corvette should never: a. Be Misplaced, b. Be Lost, c. Be Stolen, or d. Damaged, without the restoration or repair shop bearing 100% liablility for any and/or all of the aforementioned actions. By law the definition of liability is anything in your care, custody or control which is exactly what happens when you leave your vehicle at a shop--any shop for repairs or restoration. That's my story and I'm sticking to it........
