1982 covette will not start when hot
car starts fine when cold but once it gets to operational temp. it wont restart until the engine cools down.25-35 min.
Classic symptom of an HEI ignition module that is dying. I would recommend to start with replacing the ignition module. Many performance aftermarket ones are available.
It will look like this and it bolts to the base of the distributor. Access it by taking off the cap. You may have to remove the rotor as well, can't remember.

I get the new ignition module 7-8-15 I have my fingers crossed!
