84 vette wont start unless. run a bridge from the battery to the distributor. Once star i can disconnect and it runs fine. 2 Answers

It sounds like I hear the fuel pump kick in when I make the bridge. Also it runs fine until I shut it off and the i have to bridge it again.

I just bought this car. I got on the freeway and it started to spit & stutter, and just stopped running. I would pull over and it would start right up and as soon as I hit abput 50 mph the same thing....
