Check engine and vsc light came on ,what do I need to do

I read something on a post in this format that
mentioned lubing the gas cap o ring.Guess what,I
sprayed wd 40 on the o ring and tighten it up 4
clicks and wah wah!!! lights went out!!!

Yes it was that easy to do.Maybe some time in the future the o ring will need to be replaced
