Gas pedal and seat vibration between 40-45 mph

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 07 Camry XLE V6 (48600 miles). Recently replaces front two struts and shocks as they were leaking. Rear one were good. Also replaced tires with four new COOPER CS4 Touring tires. First time after mounting there was shake at speeds above 50mph (can be felt on passenger and driver seat, steering and gas pedal). Took it back to NTB for balancing and now can feel the gas pedal and seat vibrate at accelerating speed of 40-45mph only. Haven't had a chance to try at higher speeds yet, but once it holds steady at 50mph or decelerates the vibration does not exist. Not sure why this is happening after balancing twice. Since the gas pedal is vibrating i guess it should be something to do with the rear end of the car as the steering is not vibrating (very very faint or nothing). The gas pedal and seat vibration is not terrible but does not feel normal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

The problem is I got these tires online and got them mounted by NTB. One more question would be, if the lug nuts are worn out would it cause vibrations?

Most lugs have a cone end that helps seat the rim in place. IF all lugs on a wheel have worn the cone off then yes. But otherwise no. I'd suspect the new tires if the problem wasnt there before. I've gotten bad "new' tires before. It's hard to have a tire company or seller take responsibility. The sooner action is taken the better. Ask them if the balance was off for the second balance or not, if it's getting off balance there may be a problem. I've also seen tires slipping around the rim, casuing balancing efforts useless.

Any updates on this? Got a 2010 Camry doing the same thing.

@Brandon, how odd. I purchased a Camry three weeks ago as well with the exact same issue. Let me know if you have any luck correcting the issue and I will as well. I’m going to start with replacing the tires and then work my way over to the CV axles if that doesn’t fix it.
