Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had my brake pads changed but now each time i step on it, it makes a squeaking sound. Please
what do u think is the matter. I initially toy it might be water that got in but it hasn't rained in a while
and the noise is still there.

Dis you do all four? And if so, there should have been a little plastic container of stuff that goes on them when you bought the pads. It's not a lubricant but some kind of stuff to prevent squealing

Most brakes will squeak if your applying brakes and just creeping forward. If it squeaks all the time could be wear indicator, rock or debris on brake or glazed rotors.

Do you know what kind of brake pads they put on your car? Maybe ceramic brakes pads as the suck for squeaking. I had them put on one time and never again. People have been using OEM pads for as many years as they have been making cars. Works good.
