Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Please what could the brakes squeak when you step on them. Also what is the solution because i just
had the brake pads changed about a month ago.

Dis you do all four? Front brakes do 70% of stopping. Your XLE has 4-wheel disc brakes, and there are products available, aerosol cans that claim will stop squeaking and not "lubricate" the brakes and reduce stopping friction. Spray some on the rotors, just a little bit, but read labels!! make sure you have the right stuff before you spray anything on your brakes

its just dust on the brakes but i know how you feel because it is annoying.

Toyota have anti squake shims kits Make sure they we're put back or replaced Because of the semi metallic pad and the weight transfer Always going to get a little noise when you change pads you schould Resurface or replace your rotors depends on how you drive
