Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just noticed the maintenance soon reqd light flash when i start the car. This is however surprising
because i just serviced(oil change, oil filter, Fuel filter) the car about a month ago. I expect the car to
recognise the recent service(change). I am thinking the car is programmed to so the caution after a
certain mileage because it didnt show before i service. Kindly advice on what to do. Thanks

Reset it. If i remember from working at toyota you turn car off, hold the odometer reset and turn car back on while holding it ( don't start it) and it should reset after a few seconds of holding the reset button.

If it works like mine it goes off after a certain number of miles anyway, you have to reset it after the work is done every time.
