Why does my A/C compressor kick in without any freon?

I just vacuumed my a/c system and started the
Jeep to add freon. The compressor kicked in
before I even started to add anything. What are the
possibilities?  It is a brand new compressor and I
replaced the low pressure switch.

No, the low pressure switch is not jumpered. I have owned the Jeep since new and I am the only one that works on it 99% of the time.

These people on here are dumb as hell lmao do any of you even know what an electronic variable displacement compressor.... shorted switch XD wow

    The starter is brand new, although a did tap it a bit and it seems to have stopped the issue (for now).
