u connect feature

Question type: General

is this feature now available from Jeep.  We have the buttons on the dash for the u connect but Jeep told us it would be later before it could be installed.

I inquired to Mopar with the very same question `cause, it's now illegal to drive with a cell phose in Quebec. Mopar does not have the connect for the Wrangler and doesn't know when it will be available.

GIJoe Were you ever able to resolve the U-Connect problem. I just bought a 2008 Unlimited and am facing the same issue of U-Conncet is not availble. Thanks Dan

Littlehorn, The dealerships are currently telling me that U-connect is not avaible for my 2008 Unlimited Wrangler. Can you help, with a little more information. Thanks Dan Bourke Dan.Bourke@telus.net

I put it in my 08 wrangler and it works just fine. Do a goog search for: uconnect instructions RichC and you will find the writeup I did. If you have MyGig its a different and cheaper process.
