I have a 1994 ford aerostar

When you go over 50 miles per hour it bogs out then you have to pump the as to get it
going again. At the same time it shakes very bad. After pumping the gas the trans kicks
in and it starts working again. What is the cause of this so I can repair it. Thank you

In a way, it sounds as though you may have a fuel pressure or supply problem. A catalytic converter can cause such issues too. A proper diagnostic is in order.
